Bastien Grivet, young talented matte painter !

After some confirmed artists presentations, here's the presentation of a young but very talented artist, Bastien Grivet. He has many others skills but I will focus on the matte painting part.

Born in 1989, Bastien discovers drawing with his father. In 2004, he enter the "Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Genève" for a multimedia conceptor's formation..

In 2006, he win the 3rd price of the luxury watches Girard Perregaux's animation contest and the Geneva Mapping Festival's 1st price in the domain of Vjing.

His interest for the matte paintings appears when he visit an Christian Lorenz Scheurer's exihibition at Yverdon in 2007.

Last year, he worked for the game company UbiSoft. Then Bastien just join the team of DontNod Entertainment as concept artist.
